These nine live houseplants create a gradated and expanding vignette throughout this space. Each of these plants has been carefully covered in sheets of gold leaf material making gaudy and overtly valuable what was already precious. Over time, this space becomes a container of process and evolving experience as the material interaction between the gold leaf and the plants cause physical change and a new degraded 'composition' of the forms. The center of the installation begins where the objects and the reflection within the mirrored wall meet.
